Summary
PIC-EL III is a development board designed by AA0ZZ to support the Elmer 160 Program. The Elmer 160 Program was designed to educate hams to encourage them to do more homebrew work that includes microcontroller technology. Although commercial development boards are available at less cost than the PIC-EL III, they are not oriented towards amateur radio. The PIC-EL includes on-board support for Morse I/O, a connector for the NJQRP DDS VFO board (DDS-30 or DDS-60), and more.
